EAOC Member Tax Credits, Rebates and Incentives

In this week’s morning meeting, our EAOC members learned about tax credits, rebates, and incentives available to them through the businesses of the their fellow members.  This meeting allows plenty of time to take advantage of some of the wonderful incentives out there, while also enjoying incredible products and services to make life easier.

Quinton Fasola shared business tax credits available through ASURE Software, such as WOTC, the Mills Act Program, and PHMP.  Quinton invites companies to check eligibility by completing a short assessment:  https://offers.asuresoftware.com/eligibility-assessment.

Ron Dymek of Dymek's Freedom Plumbing discussed rebates and insurance discounts available by installing the Flow by Moen leak detection product, and several success stories were shared by members to attest to its value.  Other incentives are still being offered for tankless water heaters and heat pumps.

Patrick Cecil of Merrill Lynch review how the Secure Act 2.0 offers a tax credit for small businesses adopting a new qualified plan.  He also reminded us that is always a good idea to review current employer plans and personal retirement plans with a CPA, and with Patrick.

However the biggest benefit I’ve received has been “outside” of the core purpose of leads. A past member John Valentine, mentioned to me that he had heard about some industrial land for sale in Costa Mesa. I ended up buying it, building a warehouse and running my business at the time (South Coast Stationers) there for about thirty years. It was an excellent investment.

In the last thirty four years the business has grown to fourteen associations. We employ eleven full time and one part time employee.
