Spotlight on Donny Delfin of Banc of California

Check Positive Pay can help identify fraudulent checks by matching check issue formation you provide against checks presented for clearing.  You’ll receive an electronic notification alert when Banc of California finds discrepancies between the check issue information you provide and checks presented. Then you can decide to either accept the payment or return the check.

ACH Positive Pay enables you to establish and control acceptable send parament profiles for incoming ACH payments.  An electronic alert is provided to you if there is a mismatch.  You can then decide to either pay or return the transaction.  If you do not respond to the alert, the system will default to returning it.

ACH Block allows you to block all ACH debits from being posted to your account.  All blocked transactions will be returned to the originator automatically.

Happy Friday, EAOC! 

Another great meeting this week with most of our members meeting in person, and a few on ZOOM. Let's have a goal of 100% attendance!!

Donny Delfin with Banc of California presented this week, and explained how to avoid ACH and check fraud if you are a client with his bank. Also, Donny explained his journey from growing up in Guam and coming here to work. 30 pancakes for $5.00, wow. Ask Donny about that if you missed this week’s meeting. 

Remember, no ZOOM next week. We will be offsite at the Emerald Training Center in Santa Ana, where Yon Himelman of ATOMY will be our presenter. Yon always has some great samples for us, so don't miss it. Katie will send out a reminder and maps next week.
