Spotlight on Carlos Camacho Gil of Federated Insurance

EAOC members were treated this week to a special presentation by their power partner, Carlos Camacho Gil!  Carlos is EAOC’s trusted Commercial Insurance member, and after this week's presentation, proved what an asset he is to the group.

Happy Friday EAOC Members! 

Thank you for allowing me to step in and fill the big shoes of our President Ron Dymek! It was truly a treat!  Sammy prepared a fantastic breakfast plus we had a strong showing of in-person member attendance! 

As we enter Q4 of 2024, let’s finish strong with our referrals and be mindful of the various businesses represented in EAOC! 

Gayle shared pictures of the gorgeous centerpieces she had delivered to downtown LA by Deelux Florista! She commented the colors even matched the desserts!  That is attention to detail! Way to go Diana!

Our presenter, Carlos Camacho Gil gave us different insurance policies to protect businesses, their owners and key members of their workforce.  Who knew you could take a policy out on a top producer of your company in case of illness, injury or death.  These policies can have many different beneficiaries!  If you know a company that needs this type of coverage, please refer them to Carlos!

In 2008, a former member gave a lead of a local private school. After my initial visit, they signed on as a client and ordered small orders regularly, every year. As they grew, so did their order size. And although the member has not been a member for several years, this client has accounted for a total revenue of $60,000 at very nice profit margins. I have been a member for many years in several different classifications. EAOC has always provided me with a steady flow of leads. However the biggest benefit I’ve received has been “outside” of the core purpose of leads. A past member John Valentine, mentioned to me that he had heard about some industrial land for sale in Costa Mesa. I ended up buying it, building a warehouse and running my business at the time (South Coast Stationers) there for about thirty years. It was an excellent investment.
